As a long -term Galaxy Watch Classic Fan, I have been waiting for the last two years to see what Samsung has been doing for the next generation. The Galaxy Watch 8 classic clearly brings Samsung to a new era of design, cementing what the previous model has set in the previous year and is better.
Design and hardware
When the leakage began to grow, it became clear that a large number of users did not like the new design. Boxer hair tail and ultra-like buttons were like most users. Nevertheless, after that leakage has come to the fore, I have considered the same generally – Galaxy Watch 8 classic looks fantastic.
Samsung was clearly testing the water with the Galaxy Watch Ultra. “Squirkal” hair tail put a circular display, but the clock gave a different profile. In my view, the silhouette is more attractive and it looks more premium than the design of the circle we use since the Moto 360. That design is not to be knocked, but at this stage, the date seems to be.
To distinguish the clock 8 classic from the more rough watch, Samsung had to bring a design signal that guaranteed the “classic” title. It, of course, includes the rotating bezel. This means that in the stainless steel case brushed with the number of indicators around the exhibition beads, the inner is the residence of the internsal.
Traditionally, classic models do not get a large battery. This case comes to a small size, so the clock will not stand away from the wrist. Despite the minimal difference in width, the watch 8 classic feels a little smaller than the ultra and it is a big victory. The classic must be a little more subtle when providing all the benefits of a UI8 on your hand.
As opposed to the bezel design of the Galaxy Watch 6, the Watch 8 classic has a rough rotating ring with a wide knife. In my eyes, this watch looks more premium than 6 classic, but some love the excellent details on the bezel of the watch 6 classic.
In this case, it works well.
Bezal moves easily as usual and I had no problem. It is nice to be able to quickly navigate a UI 8’s new widgets and tiles without repeated swipes or using that digital bezel trick. Like the base galaxy watch 8, the bezel is enhanced, which adds a more obvious appearance.
Watch 8 classic also brings a new element in the classic series. Taken from the clock ultra, new models now bring the regenerated button layout with Samsung’s Quick Activity Co -operative button. The quick button sits in the center and can be mapped at any workout. It can also be used to activate emergency SOS.
This is another partitioning factor, but I am happy that Samsung brought it. For those who still need a clock to act as a fitness device, quick access and power/return buttons play a major role. The rough look does not distract from the classic design language, but it gives some nice functionality.
Software and performance
Upgrade on a UI8 and wearing OS 6 is a large part of the performance of the Galaxy Watch 8. The biggest change is Samsung’s new tile system.
Instead of taking the entire slot for different amounts of information, the new system allows you to stack the tile. By default, different widgets will fill in Health, FitnessAnd Basic Section. They usually take the entire slot by themselves, but now they are solid in efficient small sections.
You are able to create your own stack with a different widget, just like the folders on a UI or Android. The new approach adds customization to a system limited. Theoretically, you may have 20 or 30 widgets in a UI8 clock, but some tiles may take so little.
In addition, Samsung chose to add some new features to the Galaxy Watch 8 series and they will not be limited to new models, but Watch 6 Classics will not be able to take them all. It seems that the antioxidant index, running coaches and vascular loads are part of it, but it is not concrete.
It is nice to have a vascular load feature board and it only grows up to cycling instead of running. For me, it features a lot in cycling, and that is, Galaxy Watch 8 offers such good tools for me to keep tabs on how my ride is. I have gone more detail about how the Galaxy Watch Ultra provides an excellent cycling experience and now it is extended to the watch 8 classic.
A large part of the watch brings a UI8 sleep tracking. That’s nice, I always felt that the Galaxy Watch Classic series was a little uncomfortable overnight. Even with this model, the watch seems a little bulky and breakable with that bezel, though it may be standing to beat. This is just a preference and in both cases, Samsung’s slip tracking suit has expanded with this new series.
Galaxy Watch drives Google Gemini according to 8 classic defaults, which is the first of Samsung’s warebles to deal with AI assistant. Google is still pulling out the assistant on each platform that he is still looking for himself, but it adds more functions than the Google Assistant and it is likely to go to your bixby.
Like each Galaxy Watch, the device is expanding your phone. With the Galaxy Phone, you will get a lot of it. This is how it works. Nevertheless, adding it with a pixel or oneples device still gives a great experience, and most galaxies-lock features are usually one-time as ECG reading. In addition, the Galaxy Watch 8 classic is still an unprecedented extension of Android.
We went to the issues of consistency working with the Android KupR1 beet, but expected. As long as you are running a stable build, there is nothing to take on a problem.
Battery
If you look at the ultra level of the battery life, keep watching. This is unfortunate, but the Galaxy Watch 8 classic gets slightly in a day and not much. It will easily handle the whole day of the runtime, in which I choose not to sacrifice and with other features, but for two days without a charge you will not get it.
It has been mentioned, but the clock ultra gets a large battery and equip the watch 8 classic batteries that are only different from the previous watch 7 base model. With that, there seems to be a slight improvement. I’m fine with a day’s fee, because I can charge a short time in an hour, but if I say that I don’t want to be too much I’m lying. This is not a wonderful battery life, but it is enough for me to fit it in my day.
If there is no reason to go to the Galaxy Watch 8 classic, it will be due to the battery. I was looking for this and with all the physical changes made in the classic model of this year, the battery is that the Samsung seems to be satisfied. I imagine that most users want an ultra-level battery cell in a classic version, even if it is so expensive.
Ultimate
With all the changes in the scene that brings back to the rotating bezel, I think the Galaxy Watch 8 classic is an unprecedented watch. Again, the design will not happen for everyone, but it looks good on the wrist and it works as you expect. With the new features of the Ware OS and Samsung, it is very few to complain about it.
This is a watch that shows what Samsung is planning for upcoming devices, and I’m not crazy about it.
